Long Update

So here we are in August and I can't believe it. The summer really has flown by. I had a list of things I wanted to do and haven't really done any of it. I think this has to do with the fact that I really don't have much energy to do anything. This pregnancy has made me really tired with no motivation.
I can't complain because I really have had an easy pregnancy compared to my sister Katye. For the first 14 weeks she has been so sick having to visit the hospital each Monday to get an IV since she was so dehydrated from vomiting all the time. Hopefully she is feeling better.
August is a month full of birthday's for my family. My sisters Katye and Lyndee, nephew Jex, Great Grandma, aunt JaNean, and my mom all have birthdays in August. This year my mom turns 50! Planning a big surprise for her! She has already had my grandpa make her a wooden walking stick.
I am a little sad at the fact that my dad is hanging it up on coaching softball. I know it is time and parents and players have lead to him not wanting to be at the field anymore. I didn't think that would ever happen. He use to love the game and going to the ball field. It is too bad and I am going to miss watching games since the game has been part of our family for over 30 years.

My mom and sisters visited the Oquirrah Mount Temple which I loved.

Mack loves to read books. He climbed up on the kitchen table to read his books from the library.

Mack is truly Rock's son. He loves to eat popcorn and watch baseball like his dad!

Now it is on to getting ready to be a mother of two! I can't believe it will be here in about 2 months. I have a list of things I would like to get done to prepare for this and hopefully I can find enough motivation and energy to get these projects done.

Hey Shanie! So...I understand the love of the game softball. When I was growing up...softball games were just part of our lives during the summer. We were there 2-3 nights a week. I LOVED IT! I mostly just watched...but I still LOVE watching softball. Then...I grew up and moved away and it's been so disappointing to not have games to watch. BUT...Elliott just started on a team this past week. It was so cute. He's not a softball player...like, at all. But, he knows how much I miss it--so he joined a team. It was so fun and nostalgic (however you spell that) to be at the games and watch someone I know play. After the game, I realized his glove is a kid's glove. Ha-Ha! So, one of the guys on the team is letting him borrow his old one. Funny boy! Anyway...tell Rock to get on it and play so you can keep the tradition alive. :) Take care of yourself these last couple of months before the new baby comes. And...post more pics! I wanna see my cute preggo Shanie.
