write it down...lest we forget!

I had one of those weekends that I don't want to forget. One that makes up for me hitting a brick wall. I guess having weekends like this makes having days where you hit a brick wall seem all worth it.
Rock had to work on my birthday and mother's day which I was feeling really bummed about. He finally had a day off on Thursday the 6th of May so we decided to celebrate my birthday and mother's day that day. Rock let me sleep him, took me to breakfast to my favorite, Kneaders french toast, and then he bought me a long awaited bike! I was so excited I rode it home from the bike shop.
Friday was my birthday and my mom called to say that she will take the boys and have them sleep over! Yes another awesome present. So Rock got off early and took me to dinner ( a dinner with no interruptions, or scream kids).
Saturday went to a bridal shower, got a pedicure with my mom and sisters, and out to dinner. So nice...reality struck when I picked up my kids which I missed but apparently they didn't miss me. They scream in the car the whole way home. I think they had just as fun of weekend as I did.
Sunday, Mother's Day got a card from Rock. I have to say Rock has a way with words. Lyndee my sis came and help me at church since Rock was working. Then after church off to my mom's to have yummy chicken enchilada's, and to my grandmothers for yummy dessert. Strawberry shortcake and cookie dough ice cream my favorite!

Now we are back to stress and surviving day to day! Hope to have another one of these weekend soon!
