Just want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This year has been full of joy for Rock and I having a little boy in our family now. He truly is so fun to watch as he grows, develops and learns new things about this big world. He loves to be around people and is not scared of sitting with new people. (SEE PHOTO) He will go to anyone. He is learning words like mama, da da, whoa, and phrase like aughoh and wassthat. He just had his first birthday and we are excited to see what the next year of his life brings.
Rock still works for a concrete company and these past few months has been at Jordanelle Dam. He is still in school at UVU studying construction management. We also have a two night a week cleaning job so he stays very busy. He loves to come home and have Mack run right to him and want to play with him or read him his books.
I am mostly a stay at home mom whose days consist of picking up endless toys and books, pots and pans and reading to Mack his 5 favorite books (which I have memorized). I work some at the Lehi Recreation Center which is a joy since I love recreational activities.
The biggest event in the year 2008 for our family was our move in October from our apartment in South Orem to Rock's parents home in South Orem. We love our new little home so much! Rock and I just got callings in our ward as Valient 12 primary teachers and we couldn't be more thrilled. We are probably the youngest couple in the ward. Our vacations have been to West Yellowstone to visit Rock's parents and we have loved every trip! Who wouldn't love to float the river, fish, hike, eat great food, sleep in a nice cabin, and enjoy the outdoors.

Shanie it sounds like so much fun! I am so glad to hear you guys are doing well. I can't wait to see you guys when I come in January. I'll call you when I get there, we should all get together. I can't believe how big Mack is. I think the last time I saw him he was barely born. Love you girl!
