I can not believe Mack is going to be one in a week. Time sure does fly by. What a joy he is in our life. I am excited to see how he reacts on Christmas. So far he has no problem with Santa. Sits on his lap great. Mack loves books and wants me to read to him all the time. His favorite book is the Dr. Seus "Footbook" and believe me I have that book memorized.
I have been feeling overly anxious and stressed the past couple of weeks. My poor husband-sorry Rock. With the economy and job cuts, I worry about the future of our little family. I am amazed that Mack seems to know when I feel the most stressed. He somehow feels my anxiety too which I don't want him to feel. I want him to feel safe and secure and loved.

I can't tell on the hair. If it's all uneven and scraggly looking when not styled so cutely like the picture...then cute it. If it looks long but trimmed, keep it. I like when people are willing to cut their kids' hair.
He is soooo cute. That picture is precious. And yes our kids can really feel our moods. Even as newborns they will react to a mother's anxiousness. Pay your tithing, do your best, and expect the Lord to do His. Love ya!

Aw, I think it's cute. It adds character. On the other hand, Drew's hair started growing over his ears and got all curly and a few people said he was a pretty girl. He was wearing boy clothes mind you. So, we buzzed it and I absolutely love how it looks short. He'll be super cute no matter what.
Oh Shanie. Follow the Prophet, he says not to worry. : ) We can't say about Mack's hair. Brent says let it grow. You can always put some curl solution in it. Thank you so much for the picture of Mack! It is so cute!!! We miss you guys!
