February: This month I was feeling very sleep deprived with Gunnar (4 months old now) still waking up two or three times a night and still trying to adjust to having two children. Working at the Legacy Center supervising Jr. Jazz basketball Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings.
March: It's off to St. George to the Fast Pitch High School softball tournament to watch my cousin Ciera play. This may be our last year since my dad is no longer coaching and no one is playing still. So sad. I have gone to St. George for softball tournaments every year since birth. Long standing tradition coming to an end. Gunnar's first trip away from home and he did great.
April: So excited for spring! The boys and I try to take a walk everyday in our two man stroller around the neighborhood. Headed back down to St. George for Rock's Grandparents, Snook and PJ's Ellison's 60th wedding anniversary. Went swimming and had lunch to celebrate. Oh and of course Easter.
May: My birthday and mother's day was great. Got a new bike which I love and I love now to take the boys for a ride in the bike trailer. Remember riding my bike the Friday before Memorial Day so excited for the summer. Feeling content with life. Loved seeing the kids on their last day of school and was excited for the future! Sunday May 30th Rock's Grandmother past away. Sad but we knew it was coming because she had been sick for a while now.
June: Grandma Twitchell's memorial service and I got to meet many family member's on Rock's Mom's side of the family. Cousin Kelsey got married to Jordan on June 11th on a very stormy day. Rainy and cold most of the month. Where is summer? Work is crazy with Dance Camp for a week and Youth Camp. Spent a couple of days at Girl's Camp in Fairview.
July: Headed to Mack's Inn Idaho for the Fourth of July. Hiked to Mesa Falls and Big Springs. Say Rock's mom and dad, sister Brittany and boys and husband Leonard and Zack. Had no idea this would be the last time we would see Leonard. Last memory of him was seeing him working at the docks helping with the boats at the river. July 16th, Leonard killed in a car accident. Back to Mack's Inn for Leonard's funeral on July 20th. Filled with sadness for Brittany and her two boys Korben and Brayden. Saw a favorite family of mine in the mission field of Missouri the Dyke's. Got to see two mission companions also. Mack loves to be outside. We try and go to a park daily. Had our first annual Gillman family reunion in Lehi, Utah. We went to t-ball and coach pitch games, swimming at the Legacy Center, and a family game of baseball. The last weekend in July we went to Logan to spend the weekend with my aunt Connie. We went to the Logan Temple and to Bear Lake to see a Melodrama.
August: Filled with lots of birthday's and morning walks with Mack and Gunnar. We usually headed out around 8:00 am before it gets to hot. Rock's uncle passes away from Cancer on August 14th. So again another funeral to attend. Had our first annual Snow College roomate reunion. Stayed in a hotel at Thanksgiving Point having dinner and the next day lunch and pedicures. Took the boys to the Zoo for the first time.
September: Headed to Robertson, close to Flaming Gorge for our annual Labor Day campout with the Carter family. We love this vacation every year. It is filled with food, card playing, softball games, kite flying, fishing, and four wheeling.

October: Gunnar turned "1" years old on the 15th. Can't believe how the year has flown by. Rock and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on the 14th. Potty training Mack and learning lots of patients. Worked a lot the last week of October for the Legacy Center's annual Halloween Extravaganza. Saturday the 30th we went to Corn Belly's with Twitchell family and had a Halloween Party after. Last time we would see Zack (Rock's brother). He helped me with the kids go through the corn maze and ride the train. Had no idea this would be the last time we would see him. Halloween had a Halloween party with the Carter's in my mom and dad's barn.
November: Thanksgiving my favorite holiday spent with my Grandma Carter and aunts Ja and Shar and their families. That morning ran a 5k with my sister's Cally and Lyndee. Of course good food and fun with family and I had 3 pieces of pie for the 3 miles I ran that morning. I love spending time with family. Hit the black Friday sales the first time in 10 years. Actually enjoyed it. Probably because I had no kids with me.
December: First weekend we headed down to St. George yet again to play in the Toys for Tots slow pitch softball tournament. It was so fun playing with my husband, dad, sisters, aunt, uncle, brother in law, cousin and friends. Getting ready for Christmas and so excited for the season. December 10th Zack passes away in his sleep. Headed up to Island Park, ID again for yet another funeral. Got to spend time with Rock's best friend Jon Robert and his cute wife in a beautiful cabin. Though we wish we were there for a celebration not a funeral. Christmas was great and presents were not very important to me this year. I was just excited to see the kids reaction. Mack had his presents, Gunnar's and mom and dad's presents opened in about 5 minutes. Mack turned "3" this month also.

How does Gunnar sleep now? Is it better. D is four months and still struggling in the sleep area as well. I'm wondering when things might get better. And yes I've read all the books and am trying to implement - if only things went like the books say they will.
