"Gotta be the Good Life"

Did I mention I have a great family! I love them. They are so willing to help me and my family out when ever we need help. My sisters help babysit my kids and gives me advice on raising my two munchins. My grandpa just build us a closet and painted our basement. Here we are having a game of volleyball after a delicious Sunday dinner my mom prepared.

McCoy the ref. This kid is so stinkin cute!

Picture is small but this is Gunnar on my dad's horse JJ

And here is Mack.

Despite all the "bad" or trials in our life and in our world I have come to realize we have a good life. The boys got a trampoline from my aunts family and they love it. Just need a net now to keep them in! We just got done celebrating Orem Sumerfest Dayz and I didn't take any pictures. I know I am fired. I took Mack to the carnival Saturday night and he rode some kiddy rides, the fam went to the parade. The boys were both so good. They sat on our laps and watched the whole parade. Mack's favorite part is the fire trucks.

For Memorial Day we visited the graves of my little sister MiKale...

...and my Grandpa Gillman. This may sound crazy to some but I love visiting graves. Somehow I feel at peace when I visited my ancestors who have past on.

The morning of memorial day our ward had a parade. So Mack decorated his bike and rode it in our little parade. We rode to the church and then had a wonderful breakfast!

Gunnar with John Lisonbee who serves in the military. My kids love Bro. Lisonbee.

Later that day we went to my grandparents for a BBQ. Boys swinging on the swing.

Homemade ice cream by the fire!

My aunt found an old homemade ice cream maker that you have to crank with your hands to get ice cream. It is the best ice cream ever!

No the next few weeks we will be at ball games. I love summer and going to the ball fields. It is one of my favorite parts of summer.

Through other friends blogs I have come to realize I am blessed. Yes I still have challenges and life can be hard at times but this is the good life. I have a wonderful family. I should be thankful for all I have and look more at the positive things in life and not some much the negative. I can't control others feelings (jealousy, anger, etc.) or the circumstances of life and all that goes on in the world but I can control my feelings of jealousy, being offended, and learn to be forgiving. My new motto...I refuse to be offended and quick to forgive.

I do not have MS, I don't have half my body covered in burns and have to undergo surgery every 6 months, my kids are healthy, and life is good!
