September gone....Welcome October and snow! YIKES!

Well it is October and today we have had a few snow flurries today. I am sad to say good bye to summer, lazy days spent at the park, afternoons at the splash park, or my morning walk with my boys. Summer was full of wonderful memories. September we had great weather so here our pictures to capture our last summer adventures. First picture is of Mack on our way to visit my grandparents in Spring City. He was getting his nap in before his fun afternoon of great food, playing football with cousins, and riding the four wheeler with Papa Gillman. Gunnar got to ride with me and feel asleep half way through our hour long ride. Then we loaded some hay and got to ride home in the truck. Mack loves to ride in Papa's truck and keep and eye on the hay so it doesn't fall out. We love Spring City!

One Sunday we headed to Temple Square to visit the grounds and to try and find a sister missionary my sister served with in Indiana. After three hours we finally found her and she gave us an update on my sis Cally. I love the grounds of Temple Square and the feeling there.

Met my Sister Lyndee and her boyfriend at Hee Haw farms and spent the afternoon. Mack could have spent the hole time just riding this.

But I convinced them to ride the train.

And play in the huge box of corn...corn curnals.

Last camping trip of the year was spent up Nebo Canyon with all the beautiful leaves. I love it here and so do my boys. The boys having lunch.

For the next few days we will be inside trying to stay warm!

I love Conference Weekend and my favorite talk so far was that of Sister Dalton's talking to Dad's and how to help there daughters! Husbands love your wife, for me I need to love my husband and serve him more. Understand more that he is doing his best to provide for me and our kids. Because of past mistakes and things he is doing really well and making progress daily. It is challenging watching conference with two small toddlers so I will have to read when the Ensign comes out. Rock is working a lot lately and has had to miss out on a lot of our adventures, we miss him and hope and pray that our prayers will be answered as to know what we need to do that is best for our family with so major decisions to make.

I am finally feeling somewhat more at peace in my life after a hard few months trying to understand what the Lord wants us to do with our life and how to provide more for our family. After conference I am more at peace with the idea that for right now I am to stay home and work only a couple nights week.

Come visit us again on our blog to see and read all about our Halloween adventures. We have lots of parties planned and we are excited. Mack and Gunnar love to go walking and look at all the decorations and pumpkins on people's porches.

I hope it all works out sweet friend. I agree with you - if there is any way to make staying home as much as possible then that is the way to go. Love ya,
Britt
