As I was walking around the block the other day, huffing and puffing, thinking I was walking pretty fast I was past by a grandma. Apparently not walking as fast as I thought I was. Waddling like a duck slows you down quite a bit. Then I was past by a skinny runner who ran with no effort at all and made it look easy and effortless. I thought I would try and see if I could run some distance. Ha...I wonder what people thought who saw me. As I watched her run further up the road I thought about the time when walking and jogging was not so hard.
Well here is another picture of me being pregnant. 7 months with 2 more to go. Wow! Again I really don't like my picture being taken but for journal writing sake I will endure two more pictures. I have tried really hard with all my pregnancy to stay as healthy as I can. I try and eat healthy 80% of my day and I exercise almost everyday. I guess I just expect since I exercise that I won't gain so much weight but eating unhealthy I guess 20% of the time doesn't help with the weight gain. Each pregnancy I gain about 5-10 more then the last one and those extra 5-10 each pregnancy I have a hard time working off when I am not pregnant.
I will never be a size 4 or 6 or even 8. On a good month I fit into size 10 and that is as small as I go. But really when I am not pregnant I feel healthy. I have energy, can keep up with my two boys, soon to be three, and can exercise for long period of time without feeling tired or out of breathe. But being pregnant puts a whole new twist on the exercising. I get tired after 30 minutes, can't walk as far and when I do walk the back of my legs and butt hurt like I have pulled muscles back there. After exercising I feel very tired and need to sit down and rest. But I will keep exercising as long as I can. It really has help keep my blood pressure down and my lower back from not hurting so much. I think I sleep better even though I really don't sleep all that much but better than I would normally. So three to four more months and hopefully I will be back to my exercise level I was a few months ago.
